PUPD : 신장 쪽, 호르몬 쪽 원인이 가장 많다.

Definition

• Neuroendocrinology : 몸에서 일정하게 항상성을 유지하려는 성질 -
• 신호를 보내는 시상하부 & 실제로 조절 기능을 수행하는 target organs

시상하부에서 target tissue로 sign을 보낸다.

• GHRH, GnRH, TRH, CRH, Somatostatin, Dopamine : 문맥시스템(혈관계)를 통해 뇌하수체 전엽-뇌하수체로 전달되는 호르몬들
• Vasopressin, Oxytocin : 뇌하수체 후엽에 저장되었다가 방출됨.

Hypothalamus (시상하부)

• Corticotropin-releasing hormone (CRH)
• Thyrotropin-releasing hormone (TRH)
• Growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH)
• Somatostatin: growth hormone-inhibiting hormone
• Gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH)
• Dopamin: major prolactin inhibiting hormone (신경전달물질이자, 호르몬)

뇌하수체 전엽 (=Adenohypophysis)

• Thyrotrophs: thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH)
• Corticotrophs: adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH)
• Gonadotrophs: luteinizing hormone (LH), follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH)
• Somatotrophs: growth hormone (GH, somatotropin)
• Lactotrophs: prolactin (PRL)
• Melanotrophs (in Pars Intermedia): alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α-MSH)
  • 뇌하수체의 중간엽에서 분비되지만, 크게는 전엽에 포함됨.
  • 피부의 색소를 결정하는 melanocyte가 과도하게 분비되면 일시적으로 색소침착이 발생.

여러 가지 세포들이 혼합되어 존재함.

뇌하수체 후엽 (=Neurohypophysis)

• Vasopressin =ADH(antidiuretic hormone), AVP(arginine vasopressin)
• Oxytocin
