• 사람에서 황달(jaundice), 열(fever)
• constant cycle(mosquitoes - monkeys in jungle) → 사람을 물어 전파
• Etiology : YF virus
• Occurence
  • 적도 부근의 아프리카/아메리카 (국내 발생 20년간 0건)
  • urban cycle : solely maintained by A. aegypti, Aedes simpsoni
• Clinical manifestation
  • high fever, headache, myalgia(근육통), nausea(메스꺼움), …
  • severe : 내장출혈, 사망
  • 말라리아와 유사한 임상 증상
• Therapy & Propylaxis
  • no therapy (대증치료)
  • active immunization required (백신 접종 효과적)
