병리1(A) - 1.3 Reversible injury

(세포막이 터지지 않음)

Acute cell swelling

• water volume이 증가해서 enlargement

1. hydropic degeneration : renal tubular epithelial cell 등
2. ballooning degeneration : other tissue in the central
3. cytotoxic edema : CNS, glial cell 등

• cell swelling의 기전 2가지
  1. hypoxia-induced failure of ATP synthesis (Na+/K+ pump가 기능을 못해 Na+가 물을 가지고 들어온다) : 산소공급 중단을 포함
  2. Carbon tetrachloride(CCl4)-induced membrane damage (cell membrane에 직접적으로 타격) → 인지질 이중층 파괴
• 뉴런은 anaerobic generation을 못 하므로 산소 공급이 안 되면 뇌 손상이 가장 먼저 일어난다.

  • 육안적 appearance (volume과 weight 증가)
  • microscopic appearance
